We are still reeling from the overturn of Roe v. Wade last week. We are in the ugly healing phase, with rage and exhausting draining us each day we are reminded of the devastating news.
MEND is rooted in healing. Healing is not a process in which we simply hold crystals and hope our pains go away. Healing is work. Healing is painful. Healing is hard. Healing does not have an endpoint.
As a feminist, it is my inherent belief in the political, economic, personal, and social equality of women. Equality means choice. When we no longer have choice, we know longer have our freedom.
I believe it is every brand’s responsibility to place their stake in the ground about equality and fight for change however they can. There is no right way to help.
MEND will be showing up by dedicating volunteer hours to Planned Parenthood and donating a percentage of sales to Planned Parenthood for the rest of 2022.
